Jewelry of any kind can not be worn when playing soccer. Many injuries can occur because of jewelry. Necklaces and bracelets can get caught on other player's fingers and equipment causing injury. Ear rings can cause neck punctures or worse, get caught on clothing and get torn from the ear. There is nothing more gruesome than seeing a child's ear torn open from this. A nose piercing can cause serious punctures within the nose if struck. Putting tape and/or a band aid over the ears or nose will not be allowed. This is a point of safety for your children. If your child insists on having piercings, remind them that they will be forfeiting their opportunity to play the game of soccer.
Under no circumstances can a player “Play Up” or “Play Down”. Every player must play in the division that their birth date makes them eligible for. If it comes to our attention that a parent has intentionally lied on the registration form so that their child can play in a higher division, that child will no longer be able to play for CLCF Soccer.
The game of soccer is played in all kinds of weather, including rain. We will not cancel games due to weather unless playing conditions make it dangerous for the children. If we must cancel games due to bad weather, we will post a notice on our web site. There is no guarantee that games which are cancelled will be made up. Cancellations will be posted here on our site.
