Hello CLCF Soccer Community!
Spring in New England brings change, and CLCF Soccer is no different. There are some exciting updates that we want to bring to your attention.
We are closing in on the first anniversary of our updated cooperative agreement with the New England Revolution Academy. Academy coaches, led by Coach Fernando, have been involved at the player and team level to help guide coaches and to evaluate players throughout the winter. We have seen great progress, and our winter teams were very successful, with many winning their age group championships and tournaments.
This year we are proud to announce the next step in our relationship. There will be New England Revolution Academy Teams for boys and girls in many of the age groups starting Fall 2017.
Boys
- U14 (2004/2005 Mix)
- U12 (2006)
- U11 (2007)
- U10 (2008)
Girls
- U14 (2004/2005 Mix)
- U12 (2006/2007 Mix)
- U10 (2008)
The Academy teams provide players an opportunity to accelerate their soccer development by training with professional coaches from the New England Revolution Academy. The Academy coaches have been performing a winter evaluation of the players in the above age groups, and will be sending out Academy Team invites in the next few weeks to the first wave of chosen players for the Fall 2017 teams. Those players who do not get the initial invite, will be further evaluated at the June 11, 2017 Tryout (Time TBD) for the remaining roster spots.
We will continue to have our select level competitive teams, and CLCF will continue to partner with the New England Revolution to offer skill development during the fall and winter seasons for our select teams. The 2010-2011 players will continue with our very successful group nights led by the Academy Coaches.
